Poona Blind School invites applications for admission

Pune: The Poona School and Home for the Blind Students has invited applications for academic year 2016-17 for class I to VIII. The school provides free education and hostel facility for visually challenged students till class X.

Poona Blind School is a charity organisation which has been successfully imparting education for visually challenged students since 1934. They run a school and hostel for girls and boys at Kothrud and Koregaon Park, respectively.

“We have started the process of admission for visually impaired students and we look forward to maximum admissions this year. I urge all parents to come forward and get their wards admitted and get quality education as we have developed all the amenities for them,” said the administrative officer of the school, Krishna Shewale.

  • The criteria for admission – age group of 5 years to 10 years
