You can volunteer as an individual, a student or a corporate entity. You could partake in the kids’ activities as a reader, writer or a helper and friend the gets involved with their day to day activities. Students could volunteer with us for longer periods too.
Kids from ages 4 to 5 can be a part of the school as day scholars and a kid above 6 is eligible to board and seek admission in school. There is no limit to admissions per year. Only a kid certified as visually impaired by the government after being checked by a civil surgeon is eligible for admission. Both cash and kind donations are appreciated. All donations made to the Poona School and Home for the Blind are tax deductible.
